MSU throws $5 million a year towards Colorado HC Mel Tucker...he reconsidered his earlier "nah" and is now the new HC at Michigan State

Must be nice to be Nick Saban's buddy. 5-7 record and a $5 million per year contract. That opening press conference was brutal. My only hope is Michigan State starts recruiting more against Ohio State instead of us.

I'm surprised McElwain didn't go to Colorado. In state experience after doing great at CSU. And now is a weird time to hire a coach so Colorado didn't have the cream of the crop available. Throwing a large bucket of money at McElwain after a deceptively successful season at CMU makes sense.
