DJ Durkin joining Lane Kiffin at Ole Miss. There's a pair.
All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds.

Bobby Petrino got a job at the FCS level. Considering how he developed Lamar Jackson, I'm stunned NFL teams weren't crawling to him, even given his stint at Atlanta.

Sounds like he caught wind of some NCAA violations coming his way and skipped town.

I wonder if Luke Fickell could be the man for the job?

If that's the case I cannot see Fickell leaving under the circumstances.

More likely: MSU advances Mike Tressel to interim head coach. (FWIW I was advocating for Mike Tressel when our job was open). Come 2021 either Mike Tressel or Luke Fickell is the new head coach at MSU.

Dantonio really screwed them...he collected a $4.3 million (!!!!) bonus on January 15th and he was out of there a couple weeks or so later. Fickell has told them no as have a half dozen or so other candidates. It appears that the moral turpitude surrounding the program and the campus has taken a toll
