Coach Fannon signed an extension through 2022. Great news for the program. He has really turned BG Women's Soccer around and would love to see him stay for the long haul.

The women began their season with a 3-3 draw against SEC-opponent Kentucky down in Lexington. All things considered, I think a road draw against a "P5" opponent (albeit not the most dominant program) is a great result.

Time to build on it and get better. Go Falcons!

Head coach Matt Fannon sounded disappointed. He spoke of mistakes by the Falcons and believes our team can play better. I like it.

That's good to hear. I'll admit, scoring a goal in the 83rd minute to go ahead, just to concede another goal in the 85th minute, has to be deflating. I'm sure the team feels like this is a game they should have won.

Proud of the effort. Now , let's get better!
